Northern Plains Watercolor Society is celebrating over 25 years of encouraging growth and excellence in the art of watercolor through shows, demonstrations, education and camaraderie!
When a dozen local artists founded the society in June, 1995, it was to promote arts throughout the Black Hills and the surrounding Plains states via workshops, educational programs, lectures, and shows intended to showcase and enrich the art and cultural understanding within our communities. That mission remains today!
A 501c3 non-profit, NPWS is funded only by modest dues, treasured donations, and sponsorships. Those resources fund the Annual Celebration of Light Watercolor Exhibition featuring artwork by members. Because of generous sponsors like you, we can:
